Letter: I've been a christian since the summer of '96 where I was saved at a camp I went to. I've always believed in God, but that was always in the back of my mind. My father went to church every Sunday and I went with him occationally. But at that time I drank a lot and went to parties regularly.
One summer my friend Marc asked if I wanted to go to this camp. I said "sure!" and I had a blast there. During the time there I decided that my life was empty and I was saved on a Friday. Then the guest speaker that was there said something that Ill never forget. He said, "When you leave here Satan will try his hardest to bring you down." He was right. No less than a month later I met a girl and lost something I cant get back, my virginity. To this day it still kills me to think about it. But there is one thing I have learned through all my mistakes and heart-breaks, and that is that God is your only REAL friend, the others are just along for the ride...... "Amen."
